si FrancisM ang King of Rap
Mula sa dalawang interview kay Gloc-9:
Despite lording it over the current hip-hop scene and earning the respect of critics and casual fans alike, Gloc-9 is not yet ready to be crowned king of the genre.
The 35-year-old insists that the title should always belong to late Pinoy rap pioneer Francis Magalona.
“Walang papalit kay Sir Kiks. Pero I’d like to think din na naipagpatuloy ko kung ano ang ginagawa ni Sir Kiks, (at) ‘yun ay ang maka-inspire,” he told PEP.
Gloc-9 maintains that his entry into the scene was made possible through the Master Rapper’s “inspiration.”
“Ako ay example ng kung paano nakapag-inspire ang mga kanta niya dati,” he said.
It is due to the same that Gloc-9 notes, if he deserves to claim any title it would be that of “Alalay ng Hari” – incidentally also the title of one of his songs.
“Ako po ay alalay lamang,” said he.

Dahil out of respect kina Ma’am Pia Magalona and their children, wala pong papalit kay Sir Kiks.
